- Extremely compact accessory drive
- Most affordable aluminum block true LS variant
- Good (243) Cylinder heads
- Strong Gen 4 internals
- Commonly lower mileage
With this being said, the LSx option offers a kit for use with non-LS4 LS variants.
This kit is NOT compatible with iron block LS variants.
This kit utilizes the stock 5 speed manual transaxle and is recommended to be limited at 325ft-lbs of torque. This equates to a LS4 with a mild cam.
